No stored tokens found (Figma MCP)

Hey, thanks for the report. A similar issue is being discussed here: Figma MCP Tool fetches data successfully but Cursor AI fails to retrieve/recognize it

From the logs, "No stored tokens found" is an info message, not an error. The server still connects (you can see "Successfully connected" and "Found 6 tools"). The SSE disconnections are more concerning.

A few questions to help debug:

  1. Which figma-mcp are you using exactly? The official Figma Desktop MCP or a third-party package?
  2. Can you share your MCP server configuration from Cursor Settings > MCP?
  3. What version of Figma Desktop are you on?

If you’re using the official Figma Desktop MCP (from Figma), based on reports in the thread above, they’re having issues with the get_metadata and get_design_context tools on their server side. Their team is aware of stability problems with MCP connections.
