I think it’s pretty poor that we can only use Deepseek chat on Cursor and not Deepseek v4. If this does not change quickly, I will be cancelling my subscription. My thoughts are that Cursor does not make enough money from Deepseek, so don’t want to encourage it!!!
hey @Steve_Baron, what do you mean by “only Deepseek chat” ? I will link it for you, but people have been able to use both deepseek 4 flash and pro with all ability inside cursor via third party solution, those solution were green flagged by the team and as of now, lots of people have been using it. Let me get that link for you

And why would I trust someone from GitHub and download something from some random person?
the solution has been tested and greenflagged by the team, I mean, up to you to test it, deepseek 4 isn’t supported as is inside cursor and as of now there is no ETA
