O1 Pro Mode for Composer

Hello,

I’d love for Cursor to Add o1 Pro Mode Support for Composer with my own Api Keys. I’d pay out of my ass to get this feature.

Sincerely,

a Cursor User

Hey,

The o1 pro model is not yet available via the OpenAI API yet, so we are unable to add it to Cursor. Once it is available, we will test it’s abilities and will provide more details on it’s availability and usage costs within Cursor.

Check out https://repoprompt.com/. It allows you to easily build a super prompt with your entire codebase that you can then paste in the the o1 Pro chat. I have noticed that o1 Pro can hallucinate file names when it’s giving you instructions which is annoying. I tested for a few days after it was released, but I’m back to using Claude Sonnet pretty much exclusively again unless it gets really stumped and then I’ll try OpenAI models.

What about just o1 (not o1 pro), any idea when that is coming for Cursor Composer? I believe they announced function calling support for o1 back in December, but I’m sure it takes awhile to do a bunch of testing and tuning to get Composer working well with it.

We have something in the works with this, but nothing to announce yet unfortunately!

there is one of such tools and is called RepoPrompt

macos only

okay thanks about your O1 pro mode comment, but can you please make regular o1 model work with Azure?
