Describe the request

I’d like the option to get an agent to code a solution but not open a PR.

I’d like to open it in my IDE, test, and make changes, then open the PR.

Hi @michaelgartner thank you for the feature request. We are reviewing them regularly and will consider also yours.

In the meantime, you can open the Background Agent’s branch in your IDE, test and commit changes to the same branch which will be connected to the PR.

So much this! I don’t want to need to tell the agent “don’t touch the repository, just show me the code” every time I start a new session.
