Before we could enter a query while one was processing and it would queue the request.
Now a new query aborts the current request if any.
I find this annoying.
Can there be an option to have the old behavior?
Maybe this options already exits somewhere?

Hey @Francois1, good news, you can still get the old behavior today.
Open Cursor Settings → Agents → Conversation and set New Messages to Queue. Queue is still the default, but a small “Steer New Messages?” banner above the queue offered a “Start Steering” button, and clicking it switched that setting for you. That is why new messages now go straight to the running agent instead of waiting their turn. A recent update changes that banner so it only opens Settings instead of switching the option.
You can also choose per message: with New Messages set to Steer, Ctrl+Enter queues just that one message, and with it set to Queue, Ctrl+Enter sends right away.
Let us know if messages still interrupt the agent after switching back to Queue.
