Overload prevents work

I have been an enthusiastic user of Cursor for a few days. Cursor helped me a lot. Unfortunately, since today the message comes again and again:

We’re experiencing high demand for the selected model right now. Please switch to Auto, another model, or try again in a few moments.

Can someone tell me if this happens more often and if there is hope that it will get better.

Hey, this is a known issue right now. Several users are hitting it, especially with Auto mode.

Try manually selecting a specific model instead of Auto. For example, composer-1.5 or gpt-5 mini. This usually works around the problem.

Auto mode sometimes fails to fall back to an available model during high demand periods, so picking one directly is the most reliable workaround for now.

Thank you very much, yes that helped, but currently I have no problems with the Auto mode. If you are used to working with cursor and are very satisfied, you notice all the more when something does not work out so quickly. I am older and would never have thought in my life to work with such support. So I can realize one of my life’s dreams.
