Per-Repository Usage Tracking for Cost Attribution

Feature request for product/service

Cursor IDE

Describe the request

We are a consulting firm using Cursor on the Team plan across multiple client repositories. We need to track AI usage per repository to accurately attribute costs to each client.

Currently there is no way to filter usage metrics by repository. The Bugbot analytics endpoint already supports a repo parameter, so the pattern exists - it just needs to be extended to the other endpoints (agent edits, models, tabs, etc.).

This would be extremely valuable for any consulting or agency team that needs to allocate AI spending per project or client.

Operating System (if it applies)

MacOS

I’ve released a cost tracker for Cursor, it’s based on local usage and only for Window: jeremypot/cursortrack: Track cursor usage

Describe the request

It would be really helpful to be able to download a CSV similar to “Team Usage Events” but that included the repository.
That would enable us to track the cost per repository ( and user).

Thank you,

I’m amazed this isnt possible.

We need to forecast projects and learn from decisions devs are making in the business. Local db extraction seems like a wild non-enterprise workaround.

Why does the API not provide a per repo filter?
