Persist Selected Model Per Chat Tab

Right now, changing the selected model changes across all chat tabs.

This should be unique per initiated chat so you can easily compare different model outputs per tab.

Please! This would help delegate tasks to models depending on their nature, without having to remember which one you want working on it when switching between them.

yeah, I can’t give claude-4-thinking a text editing task so this is quite necessary :slight_smile:

Suggested features:

  1. Pin model selection to a chat. I often deliberately use different models in different chats. Currently when I go back to a different chat, it sticks with the model of the previous chat.
  2. Allow to bookmark certain replies in chats and easy access to those bookmarks.
  3. Allow full search of all responses across all chats in a project.
