Please Add Peru to the Student Verification List

Hello CursorAI Team,

First of all, thank you for making Cursor available to students for free — it’s an incredible initiative that truly supports learning and innovation.

I recently tried to sign up for the Student Plan, but I noticed that Peru is not listed among the eligible countries for student verification. As a Peruvian student, this unfortunately prevents me (and many others) from accessing the educational benefits you offer.

I kindly ask that you consider adding Peru to the list of supported countries. Thousands of university students in Peru are eager to use tools like CursorAI to enhance their development, research, and coding education.

Thank you again for this initiative — I hope students in Peru can join the program soon!

“Hi Team! I am also facing this issue. I am a student from Peru and I cannot verify my account because my country is missing from the list. My university email ends in .edu.pe. Please add Peru to the supported countries list. Thank you!”

hi @StephanoSanchez and thank you for your interest in our student program. At this time we are onboarding students from the listed countries.

We do have a central Feature Request for this, could you please upvote there as separate posts are harder to maintain. I will close this thread as it is duplicate.
