UPDATE: composer-1 is now available via the UI :).

However, it’s still not available via the API. Here is our response from the /v0/models endpoint:

Question for the team, if we use ‘default’, will it use whatever model we’ve selected in the UI?

Seems to be gone from the UI

They clearly give zero F‘s about the background agent, heck they dont even fix major bugs in their ide

Yeah, we’ve migrated as a team to Claude Code instead. Cursor did not seem to be interested in the features our team was using (hooks, background agents) as our bug reports for them went largely ignored. Emails have been ignored too. Claude Code + GitHub Actions have been much more reliable for us and as a bonus saved us a lot of money.
