CMD+K is well-known as the shortcut for clearing the terminal. This is the default from VSCode. Cursor overrides this keyboard command (even when the terminal is in focus) so that it can show the AI chat feature, which is significantly less important to me than basic functionality like being able to clear the terminal.
If this only happened once or twice, I would simply override Cursor’s new keybindings or whatever. But this just keeps happening with new updates and it’s becoming annoying. I fail to understand why Cursor needs to override well-established keybindings.
