When I use Add to chat (@ file or @ folder), I expect the agent to treat that path as in scope for the entire conversation, including after context summarize.
What happened
- add folder to the chat is not recognizable for the agent at all, i need to use copy paste of the relative path instead
- when i used the add file to the chat option:
- The file exists on disk in my workspace under a known folder path
- The agent reported the file was “not in the repo” after glob/search
- Reading the file by explicit path worked immediately
- Broad file search did not list the file, even though it was readable by path
Expected:
- @ file = pinned workspace path (and contents) for the session
- The agent should use that path first instead of concluding the file is missing from search
