Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, this is a known issue, and it’s described here too: Cursor Team Kit cannot be added as plugin

A couple things to try:

  • Fully quit and reopen Cursor, not just reloading the window
  • Try calling the skill directly in chat with /skill-name
Sometimes they work even if they don’t show up in the list

The team is aware and is tracking the issue. Your feedback helps with prioritization, so let me know if any of the above works.

I have reopened cursor multiple times. I have also typed the skill names and tried it but it didn’t work.

For anyone wanting to find a fix, I found temporary solution. What you have to do is go to the plugins’ GitHub and manually installing everything into cursor files. It takes a long time to do it normally so you can use PowerShell. For commands, you can ask the cursor ai using ask mode. Now I currently have sub agents, skills, commands and everything. Hope this helps you guys. Cursor devs still haven’t fixed so this should be temporary solution.

I have the same issue. I tested on 2 computers and same issues.

dont want to go down that path man, it render the plugin meaningless :joy:

I checked the console from developer tools and it seems that my cursor fails to retrieve data from plugin servers or something like that. Currently I just have skills and rules manually installed
