Prettier does not work on Cursor 2.4.23

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

I am currently on Cursor version 2.4.23 and Prettier version 11.0.3. I have tried to follow steps from Prettier broke after updating Cursor to 2.39.41
but I am not able to update Prettier to version higher than 12+
So Prettier does not work

Steps to Reproduce

Install Cursor version 2.4.23 and Prettier version 11.0.3

Expected Behavior

Prettier should work

Hi @kbt,

Since you’re on Prettier v11.0.3, which is working with Cursor for others, could you check the Output panel (select “Prettier” from the dropdown) and share any error messages you see? Also, is Prettier set as your default formatter in settings?

This will help narrow down what’s going on.

It seems that default formatter setting has been reset, thanks a lot @sanjeed5
