Product Feedback from a cursor cheerleader

  1. Provide a web interface like lovable that non developers will also be comfortable using. Would love for them to benefit from the magic that is cursor.

  2. Allow users to multi select image files in agent mode instead of having to select them one by one

  3. Help make memories global scope or project scope both.

  4. When scaffolding a new project, recommend default cursor rules and / or memory additions, based on the tech stack chosen and general desired characteristics e.g. high quality, tested code, responsive code, performant code etc

  5. Recommend, like 4, mcp and other integrations that the developer might find beneficial and not have to add as an afterthought.

  6. Tighter integration with tools like Claude Code especially when the user is paying for that

  7. Background agents is buggy. Not ready for prime time.

  8. Contextual awareness across files and dependencies is still an issue. Mods in one file without corresponding mods in other dependent files and code is still not working well and leads to a lot of rework.

  9. The tool becomes laggy and gets lost in intricate and large codebases

  10. Better devops tooling needed across merge conflicts, for example.

  11. Visualization of a codebase. Please please, pretty please

  12. Frequent tool and tool call failures

Big fan of cursor here and the above will really really make my life a lot easier as I think it will for other fellow devs in this community. Thank you for listening to us.
