Project rules were not updated after changing individual .mdc files

Describe the Bug

“Project Rules” automatically set in Curosr options are not updated after related files are updated. And the files are picked according to old Project Rules settings instead of their current state

Steps to Reproduce

These rules were created months ago, so I can’t be sure. But I set them to “Apply manually” a week ago only to find it still has no effect and the rules are always automatically attached based on old rules.

Expected Behavior

.cursor/rules are picked dynamically according to glob, at every chat turn
