Question—How does everyone use AI to design aesthetically pleasing pages?

I’ve found that Claude is quite good at web UI, but not as strong with apps. More manual optimization of details is still needed, which makes me feel that AI is still lacking in UI design. I know tools like Figma can be used for step-by-step design, but this approach is relatively inefficient. May I ask how everyone quickly builds beautiful, commercial-grade UI page mockups?

Currently, my approach is using Gemini to draft the page design, then having Claude create a prototype with HTML, followed by continuous refinement and optimization before finally implementing it in the app (web version). Does anyone have a better solution? Thank you, let’s share and exchange ideas.

Perhaps my expectations were too high. UI design does take considerable time, and compared to developing functionality, I’m not particularly skilled at UI.

try looking into frameworks that may have the style you like. Maybe use that in your prompt to get a start of the look you want. You can also input web pages. Another thought would be to find some webpages with the general look you’re going for and see if it can match those style sheet stylings.

4o is quite decent at generating layouts and UI draft. From there, you can get a good start. Canva is also making serious progress to provide one-shot designs.
