I got this and I can’t work without this model, is there any way to resolve? Thanks!

We're experiencing high demand for Kimi K3 right now. Please switch to Auto, another model, or try again in a few moments.
[resource_exhausted] Error
RetriableError: [resource_exhausted] Error
Kimi K3 had a short capacity issue on September 15 between roughly 20:02 and 20:21 UTC. The infrastructure serving Kimi K3 started failing during that window, so requests to it were temporarily held back to protect the model, which is the “High Load” message you saw. It recovered on its own and Kimi K3 has been serving normally since then.
If you retry now it should go through. If you still see the message, can you reply with the Request ID from the failed message.
Hey @Sam01,
Quick update on this. The Kimi K3 capacity issue behind the “High Load” message has been addressed on our side and will be rolled out soon if it hasn’t been already.
Could you give Kimi K3 another try and let me know if you still run into it? If it does come back, the Request ID from the failed message would help us track it down.
I have not experienced it in exactly the form described in this post. However, something has happened to me several times over the last few days: when I am at around 80% and want to continue writing by entering text, it shows “Planning next moves,” followed by “Taking longer as expected,” and then it simply does not continue—regardless of how often I restart the chat.
At that point, when I am at around 80%, I really have to open a new context window, and then Chemie K3 works again. I can always start directly with Chemie K3 in another window or context window, so it is available; it is only no longer available in the window where I am at 80%, for whatever reason.
If I select another model in the window at 80%, it suddenly works again.
I just encountered the same issue in a fresh context window with “Planning Next Moves,” followed by “Taking Longer than Expected.” I repeatedly tried to rerun the message above by pressing Enter, but it would not proceed.
I then created a new context window with exactly the same content, and it worked. Therefore, I strongly suspect there is some kind of bug within the same context window and tab that prevents it from continuing, regardless of whether Kimi is currently available or whatever the underlying issue may be.
As soon as a new context window is started—in other words, a new tab—it works again. @Colin
