Remote SSH 1.0.37 to Windows (Azure VM) broken

Describe the Bug

Since today, Cursor Remote SSH failed to install the cursor server on Windows 11 Azure VM. Downgrading to 1.0.36 works as expected. I am not sure how i can get logs of the ps1 script that gets executed on the remote, the client Output just showed Timeout.

Steps to Reproduce

Get an WIndows Server 2025 Azure edition with latest updates installed
Try to connect from OSX with latest cursor with 1.0.37 of the Remote SSH plugin

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Thanks for raising this issue. Could you enable trace logging in the Cursor Remote SSH settings and share the output from the “Remote - SSH” tab so we can take a closer look?

In 1.0.37 we did change the installation script to fix a few other bugs so unfortunately something probably regressed in there. Apologies about that.

We have identified the issue and released version 1.0.38 of the extension, which should fix this. Apologies about this; thank you for bringing it to our attention!
