Provide a clear description of the bug
When i start an agent call running, then stop it before it generates, then attempt to ‘restore checkpoint’ to update the prompt, rather than doing nothing to the file, it spams bad diffs everywhere.
Explain how to reproduce the bug (if known)
start agent call running midway through a chat where the agent has changed a file in prior messages, stop it before it finishes or makes any file changes, restore checkpoint to the message you just sent.
Tell us your operating system and your Cursor version (e.g., Windows, 0.x.x).
Windows, newest version (0.48.9)
