Retrieve Branching Chat History

When using chat, I:

Prompt > Output
Prompt #2 > Output #2

However I went back and edited Prompt #2, and received a different Output #2.

Which I assume creates a branching chat history, however In the UI I’m only able to retrieve the final state of the chat history (the version with the edited prompt).

Anyway for me to go back and retrieve the first version of Prompt #2 and it’s Output?

Welcome to the community!

When you edit and replace a prompt, the output is overwritten. There’s no branching as far as I know.

What I’d recommend is whenever you want to branch and try something out, you could create a new chat and then use the @summarized composer to get a summary of your previous one.
