I just wanted to upgrade from free to cursor pro and thought that I shall take the yearly plan since I might use it here and there but I just realised that if I dont use up all the tokens every month they are lost. in this case it makes little to no sense to upgrade, since I can do 90% of what I need with the free model… but it would have been nice to have peace of mind and not worry about it. And when something bigger comes up I know I can use it then… but this way it is more likely i just buy one month when i need it and that is it.
