Running command inside cursor

It seems like cursor always stops working while trying to execute commands, and it hangs there doing nothing.

Steps to Reproduce

just ask cursor to run terminal and do something. This happened after MacOS update to the latest 26 or tahoe

Hey, thanks for the report.

It appears as though Cursor is only suggesting this command to you, not trying to run it specifically.

There are often cases where this might happen, as the Agent has the ability to both run commands itself but also just suggest commands that you may want to run in the future.

You should be able to say β€œRun this for me” as a reply and Cursor should do so without an issue, or alternatively you can add a Project Rule to add some instructions for when you want the Agent to run commands like this vs just suggest them.

I know, i am putting this as an example, but using terminal does not work. It just hangs.

would be great to be able to select different terminal.
