Facing the same issue. Using Figma MCP, both tool invocations succeed, but agent dies regardless of retries. This has been working reliably so far.

Same issue for me. Would love any insight. The particular MCP server I’m using was working fine late last week, and now I’m getting this same error. The MCP calls succeed but then I get this same error message, and no further MCP calls will work.

Hey, which model are you using?

@deanrie For me, this is with Claude 4 Sonnet, but I’ve also tried enabling/disabling different models to see if I could get it to work with Gemini (then closing cursor and the server it’s trying to communicate with, and then re-opening/starting both) and that did not change anything.

It doesn’t seem to be a problem with the specific MCP tool since it completes actions successfully.

Claude 4 sonnet. Sometimes it works fine. Sometimes it crashes, I think it’s the AI ​​model.
