Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

When I do search, eg. “Voice” and hit enter I see that section is opened, but page is not scrolled to the required paragraph

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open search
  2. type “Voice”
  3. Hit enter

Expected Behavior

I want to see that page is scrolled to “Voice Mode”, but it it does not , so I am forced to scroll fast to visually stop the required search.

Hi Eugen,

Thank you for reporting this. I was able to confirm that settings search scrolling works correctly on the current stable build (2.6.18), which means this is a regression specific to the pre-release channel you’re on (2.7.0 pre 92).

I’ve filed this with our engineering team so they can investigate the regression.

The issue with settings search not scrolling to the matched section has been addressed and the fix should be available on the nightly release channel. If you’d like to try it out before it hits stable: open Cursor Settings > About and switch the Release Track to Nightly, then restart Cursor. Let me know if that resolves it!

IT would be nice to have easy steps to switch to Stable Cursor from Nightly Cursor without many manual steps. Unfortunately the fresh STable Cursor do not recognise changes I configured for Nightly
