Small feature request: Show the AI all the files you have open

Often a problem I’m working on is spread across several files. Usually I have all those files open and I want to show them to the AI. Using @Codebase would distract the AI with a bunch of irrelevant stuff, I imagine. Presently I handle this by @mentioning each file individually, but I do that a lot; it would be great to be able to just write @Open files.

Thanks for the feature request - this does seem useful! We’re a small team and a bit overloaded, but will this add to our backlog

I figured out a workaround!

Add open files to chat (cmd+L)

I actually just figured out a way to do something like this. Make sure you have the file explorer pane open on the left with the “Open Editors” section open, and the chat pane open on the right. In the Open Editors pane, select the files you want to reference. You can click the first one and then shift-click the last one to select them all, or select them individually by Ctrl-clicking on Windows or Command-clicking on Mac. Drag them over to the chat pane.
