Claude Sonnet 4.6 is now available in Cursor!
Our benchmarks show it as a notable improvement over Sonnet 4.5 on longer tasks, but below Opus 4.6 for intelligence.

but i would like to ask that is that any FREE weeks or special promo or events?
For the Claude Sonnet 4.6, like before this during the Sonnet/ChatGPT release.

It says Sonnet 4.6 is medium - can we expect anything higher to be added?
Also in the list of models in Cursor IDE, Sonnet 4.6 thinking is grouped with regular Sonnet 4.5 and Sonnet 4.6 is grouped with Sonnet 4.5 thinking - just a minor side-note.

When we have the chance to do this, we’ll never be quiet about it. 
But if it’s not announced, there’s no special promotion pricing.

I will wait for the release from Benchmark. Since Sonnet 4.6 has the same price and there are no changes in pricing, and GPT-5.3-Codex is still my go-to model, it’s hard for me to justify the higher pricing.

Agree, 5.3 codex is nice. The brains of GPT-5.2 and coding ability of GPT-5.2-codex.
I’m seeing reports that it consumes tokens at a much higher rate than Sonnet 4.5, so even if the price is the same, it’s much more expensive. Any insight?
Not in the near-term. Some APIs have changed, which makes it harder to just turn it on
