Hey, thanks for the report. The Agents sidebar opening by itself in a new window is a known bug, it’s on our radar, but we don’t have an ETA yet. Another thread with the same symptom: Agents Panel defaults open no matter what I do
One more thing, “several blank sidebars” when opening sounds like more than normal behavior. If you can, please share a short screencast or screenshots right when you see multiple empty tabs. I want to confirm it’s the same issue and not a separate regression. A Request ID would also help just in case. You don’t need Cursor Settings (not VS Code settings) > Network > Run Diagnostics for this one, it’s UI-only. Also please confirm it reproduces on a fresh Cursor launch, not after reloading the window.
