Description:
After updating Cursor, I started seeing strange green and red colored bars in the left gutter of the editor. These are not Git-related (no repository initialized) and also not related to debugging or breakpoints. It appears to be a new visual change introduced by the update, possibly related to indentation guides, bracket pair guides, or internal changes to the theme styling — but the colors are distracting and don’t seem to correspond to anything functional.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Update Cursor to the latest version
- Open any file (JS, TS, etc.)
- Observe red and green gutter bars, even without Git or debug mode enabled
