Describe the Bug

When working in worktree sometimes you get a ‘waiting for approval…’ dialog with nothing to approve

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run an agent in a worktree
  2. Get unlucky

Expected Behavior

You have a button to approve whatever it is trying to do.

Additional Information

These bugs are making me burn tokens. Almost 50/50 if I’m paying for tokens or paying to find cursor bugs.

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known issue. A few users have run into cases where the approval dialog doesn’t render, especially when using worktrees (similar report).

For now, the only workaround is to start a new chat when this happens.

If you hit this bug again, it’d help a lot if you could:

  1. Open DevTools (Help > Toggle Developer Tools) and share any errors from the Console
  2. Share a screenshot of the stuck state
