I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding student access to Cursor Pro subscriptions from India.
Issue Description:
When attempting to sign up for a student subscription, India is not available in the country selection dropdown list. This prevents Indian students from accessing the student pricing benefits for Cursor Pro.
Request:
Could you please consider adding India to the list of supported countries for student subscriptions? There is a significant student developer community in India that would greatly benefit from access to Cursor Pro at student pricing.

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to add my strong support for this request. I’m a university student based in India, and like many others here, I’m incredibly eager to use Cursor Pro for my studies and personal projects.
I am currently building a complex AI + AR travel project and find that Cursor is the ideal environment for this kind of work. It’s a real barrier that the student plan isn’t available in our region, as I know the Indian student developer community is massive and highly active.
I’ve already sent a formal email to the team with my student details. I’m just adding my voice here to publicly +1 this and show the team how much we’d appreciate it.
