Hi! Thanks for your post. I can’t see the right most part of the image but there should be a View and Allow button that pops up and here’s what that means:
- View allows you to see exactly what the subagent is doing and approve it step by step (e.g. run ABC particular MCP tool 1, run ABC MCP tool 2, etc.)- Allow says “I trust the Subagent to do what needs to do and I don’t need to approve the actions step by step.” By clicking Allow, you authorize the Subagent to do the MCP tool calls it needs.
If you’re curious what the Subagent is doing, you can use the expand button to view the actions it is taking in Detail and stop it if you’d like.

From your reply now at least I know what to expect.
I dont see the buttons you mention. the sub agent for sure is unable to start
I toggled dev mode and this is what I see
Its like the agent is trying to request something and gets rejected.
This error goes on and on
I searched on the internet and Ill try to disable thinking mode and restart cursor..
Sorry about that. Thank you for sharing the screenshots, this is super helpful! This matches a bug that impacted several other users this morning, and we’ve raised a bug report on it. I’ll let you know when it’s fixed!

In the meantime, I see that cursor is trying to contact your servers. So I found a proposal solution to disable Privacy.
Since Im on a team edition, I cannot toggle privacy on or off because it is an admin function.
If I ask the admin to temporarily disable it, will it work? Or shall I wait for your fix?
(I dont want him to go through the work to disable it for nothing. )

Thanks for offering, but no need to disable privacy mode for this instance. We are aware of this particular issue.
Having privacy mode set to ‘share data’ does massively help us pinpoint the issue sooner, but I understand team considerations, so not to worry.
