Sudden Model Change: claude-4-sonnet -> Thinking

Describe the Bug

I’ve been using curosr on a current project and my usage has almost exclusively bene using claude-4-sonnet, and in the usage data is shows such with a pricing of 0.5, today suddenly even though I’ve not changed anything my usage is showing up as claude-4-sonnet-thinking and a price of 0.8. This feels like a bug?

Steps to Reproduce

I’ve tried setting to auto and back to claud-4-sonnet but it still shows the different usage.

Expected Behavior

I’d expect it to use claude-4-sonnet with 0.5 pricing

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, I just checked and everything is fine on my end. Are you sure you selected the right model? The thinking model has a brain icon, while the non-thinking one doesn’t. However, there might be an error in your interface. Could you share a screenshot?

It does indeed have the brain icon, however, It is not showing an option to select it without? I did not make any changes on my side until this started happening.

Nevermind found it! Thank you!
