Technical Issues with Environment Loading and Code Completions

Dear Support Team,

I previously unsubscribed from the service due to an issue with cursor completions not functioning. Upon re-subscribing, I’ve encountered the same problems. Specifically, I’ve observed the following:

  1. In the notebook environment, there is a significant delay in detecting and loading the environment.
  2. The same delay occurs in the scripting environment (.py files).
  3. While the chat and generate features are operational, code completions are not working as expected.

Could you please provide assistance in resolving these issues? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or solutions you can offer.

Interface Details

Confirm which of the Cursor AI interfaces you are having trouble with:

  • Ctrl + L - Normal Chat
  • Ctrl + L - Long Context Chat
  • Ctrl + L - Interpreter Mode
  • Ctrl + K - In Editor
  • Ctrl + K - In Terminal
  • Ctrl + I (Composer)

LLM Details

Specify which LLM you are using:

  • cursor-small
  • gpt-3.5
  • gpt-4o-mini
  • gpt-4o
  • claude-3.5-sonnet

Relevant Logs

Check for any relevant error messages or logs:

Cursor > Help > Toggle Developer Tools

(and then click the Console tab)

Also see:

01) Ctrl + Shift + P (open Command Palette)

02) Type Developer: Open Log and select Developer: Open Log File...
