It really depends on the individual. If you primarily rely on natural language for creating projects, fast requests will complete quickly. However, if you mix manual coding for simpler tasks with the composer for more complex ones, you can save a significant number of credits. That was the case a few months ago. Now, with the release of Gemini 2.0 Flash, you can save even more credits by switching between the two models.
Personally, I use this approach, and I’m sitting at 100 credits after almost 11 days! By the end of the month, I usually find myself swimming in unused credits, so I end up spamming the composer like a mad scientist just pressing buttons for the sheer joy of burning through them

I just found out for each chat I can choose the model , if using cursor-small or gpt-4o-mini, it’ll not take up 500 quoto. Instead, using the unlimited one.

You can use unlimited “slow” premium one. I have used all my premium one in the first few days, been running on the “slow” request since. I haven’t noticed any difference with the fast one.

You need to switch to free models for the simpler requests which do not require advanced reasoning/ability. You can even have different chats for the complex stuff and the simpler stuff.
