Describe the Bug

When I select either Agent, Ask, or Plan. When I type to the agent and send, it just stops it and moves mu cursor back into the text input.

Steps to Reproduce

Open a new agent tab, type a message, and then hit enter. And nothing happens.

Expected Behavior

The Agent is meant to execute the message

Hey, thanks for the report.

There’s a fresh network bug with HTTP/2/TLS after Dec 5. Try this temp workaround: disable HTTP/2 and check. Instructions: Settings → search “HTTP/2” → enable “Disable HTTP/2”.

If it doesn’t help, please share:

  • Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics (full output)
  • Console errors from Help → Toggle Developer Tools → Console tab when pressing Enter
  • Try without extensions: close Cursor, run from terminal: cursor --disable-extensions. Report results
  • Try picking a specific model instead of Auto and send again
  • New Request ID and exact time of reproduction

We’re seeing several regressions in 2.1.50 and working on a fix.

That didn’t work…

And when I open another project file I am working on the agent works just.

But when I option the project folder I am currently working on, then the agent just doesn’t work… I have no idea what to do…

Any further suggestions?

Version 2.0.77 is working for me

And now Version 2.0.77 is having the same issues…

It seems that after I have committed to Github, then suddenly the Agent decides it doesn’t want to work on anything new…

Is there a better way to open Support Tickets that get better responses?
