Hi Cursor Team,

The current AI chat input box is far too small for serious use. It’s limited to a single line and doesn’t resize, which makes it frustrating to write or edit anything beyond a short prompt.

Steps to Reproduce

This is a major UX flaw for a tool that promotes AI-powered development. Please consider one of the following ASAP:

Make the input box resizable or auto-expand to multiple lines;

Add an option to enable a full-size chat panel by default.

A wider input area is essential for users who rely on AI for complex prompts. This limitation breaks the workflow and undermines the power of your AI features.
