Hi Cursor team,
I’d like to request Chinese localization for the Cursor Settings UI.
Why
Cursor is great for daily development, but the Settings page is still mostly English. This makes onboarding harder for Chinese-speaking users, especially when configuring:
- Models / API keys
- Rules / MCP
- Network / proxy / terminal settings
Request
Please add support for:
- Simplified Chinese (priority)
- Optional Traditional Chinese
- Auto-detect system language, or manual language selection in Settings
Scope
Full IDE localization isn’t required immediately, but these areas would help most:
- Settings main UI
- Common sections (General, Models, Rules, MCP, Beta)
- Key tooltips, errors, and help links
Even partial localization or a Chinese settings guide would be very helpful.
