Describe the Bug
I select the folder, open it, but Cursor won’t display anything—I don’t understand what’s wrong.
Steps to Reproduce
File > Open Folder > Folder

Hey, thanks for the report. Let’s quickly check the basics.
Please try:
- Show Explorer: View → Appearance → Primary Side Bar, then
Ctrl+Shift+E
- Toggle sidebar:
Ctrl+B
- Open a different folder from local disk
- Run without extensions: close Cursor, then in terminal
cursor --disable-extensions
- Reload window: Command Palette → Developer: Reload Window
And please share:
- Screenshot of Cursor window with visible Explorer and window title
- Does it reproduce on all folders or just one (specify path, e.g.
C:\..., network drive, OneDrive, WSL)
- Logs and errors:
- Help → Toggle Developer Tools → Console, screenshot or copy of errors
