Since the latest update (which auto approved all changes & removes the ability to keep All) using Cursor as an IDE has become like navigating a maze with a blindfold.
It limits my faith in cursor as we all know AI can make errors, but this now removes a quaility check mechanism.
Cursor, is there any plans to bring this back please?
Removal of “Keep all” makes me question future use of Cursor, I mind as well switch to Claude Code then if the idea is just to have a vibe development tool (Cursor was always a coding tool for me). If it is too much to have this back as a default give us a setting to be able to control this, dont make this to be a joke like layout setting was (is).
Welcome to my universe for months now. Adjacent to y’alls issue I have been wanting older behavior where each new chat would keep all automatically. I understand folks like it different ways so at least have the ability to turn the behavior on/off.
I hope the product team at Cursor starts figuring out a better path forward that works both with the end users and their vision of the product.
Same issue here. After the latest update I can no longer review changes the way I could before. The Keep / Undo and Keep All / Undo All buttons are gone, and changes are applied without any real review step. For me this is a serious regression: I used Cursor as a coding tool with a clear quality check (review diff → accept or reject), and that workflow is now broken.
Please restore the ability to review changes before applying and bring back Keep All and Undo All buttons. At minimum, add a setting so users can choose between “always show review” and “auto-apply.” Without that, the product is much less usable for me.
