There are many issues like this, all marked as resolved. This is clearly an ongoing issue since the very beginning and there should be one open that is NOT marked as resolved.

Would be nice if…
- Better error handling (to differentiate between plan limitations and infrastructure downtime or cursor related errors)
- As a paid user where it explicitly says I am afforded certain abilities, cursor shouldn’t tell me I don’t have those abilities; especially when I have those abilities twice in some situations.
these screenshots cannot be simultaneously true. (the particular API key error is thrown even when the Anthropic API Key is disabled)
