The Read-Only Terminal Issue

How long has it been? Please fix this. Cursor is useless for me this way.

Hey, does enabling this option fix the issue?

No, it does not work for me either.
Killing all terminals and restarting cursor still doesn’t work. Is this IDE being vibe coded? Why does this keep happening? I’m getting sad having to keep downgrading the IDE just to have this functionality working. Makes no sense to me to make it read-only in the first place, we aren’t children.

Hi,

highly recommend opening a formal Bug Report. Specifically because you said its working in older versions but not in the current version, an official bug report is the best way to ensure the engineering team is notified directly and can fix.

You can submit it here: Link: https://forum.cursor.com/c/bug-report/6
(Please include your logs and system specs to speed up the process.)
