The window terminated unexpectedly (reason: 'killed', code: '15')

Describe the Bug

The latest update is constantly crashing, regardless of the model I use. Tried everything, restarting the Cursor, PC, etc, etc. As soon as we start chatting (fresh chat) it crashes taking us back to a fresh Cusor installation, removing the project and the chat from the interface.

For AI issues: which model did you use?

ALL

HELLOOO???@condor @deanrie @andrewh @ravirahman

Hey, does this happen in a specific project or in all of them?

All of them. I’ve just downgraded to v15, and the same behaviour persists. Strangely, when it crashes, it crashes Windsurf and Kiro as well, even if those are just opened without coding anything, so I am assuming it is something with VS?

It might be an issue with extensions. Try launching with the flag:
cursor --disable-extensions

There are no extensions

Any updates on this? Cursor is totally unusable.
