Hey, I believe this is showing on the wrong input! It’s the Cursor Version field that required 20 characters, but the popup is confusing so I will get this fixed!
Also, regarding pasting screenshots, will get that resolved too!
I have two reports to submit once it’s a lot easier to do it quickly in the middle of a coding spree (without breaking my concentration).
Even a choice to post without the form would be useful as a fallback, but I understand if bug report overload has forced a mandatory form.
Just think about people like me who want to spend only 60 seconds reporting a bug while in the middle of typing a line of code.
Thus – due to that – going from a single page to a sudden many-fields form-based approach may be a wee bit sudden. Personally, I’d phase it in gradually with 3 form fields (+ pasteable screenshots).
Or simply a pre-filled post with the entire form as an ASCII post (for edit-in-place). IDEA: You can simply use your AI to parse the sections of a single-page ‘form’ that is simply a prefilled create-post that’s editable, making classic form approaches obsolete.
The bug report form has been simplified for now, and you can use the simpler bug report form for your issues, please be as detailed as possible to help analyse issues.
