Too many computers used within the last 24 hours for the same Cursor account

Our team of 5 members purchased a Cursor Pro subscription. Everything was working fine until yesterday, when we encountered the following issue:

We received an error message:
“Too many computers used within the last 24 hours for the same Cursor account.”

We’ve already reached out to customer support via email, but we haven’t received a response or any update about unlocking the account. Additionally, we couldn’t find any clear information on the official website regarding device limitations for a single account.

Here are the questions we’d like to ask:

  1. How many devices can be used with a single Cursor Pro account?
  2. If there is a device limit, what’s the recommended solution for teams like ours?
  3. Once this limit is triggered, how long does it take for the account to be unlocked? Is there a way to expedite the process?

This issue has significantly impacted our team’s work. We would greatly appreciate any advice from others who’ve encountered similar issues or an official response from the Cursor team.

Thank you in advance!

It means too many computers are used in one account. To fix it you have to wait a while for it to return to normal.

Where can I see which computers have used my account?

If my account password is leaked, will changing the password on the page make it unavailable on other computers?

If you believe your account password has been compromised, please drop us an email at hi@cursor.com and we can assist you there!
