Previous post was genuinely helpful! It laid out a lot of practical ways to use AUTO in place of GPT-5.5 for simpler tasks, and I’ve actually been able to shift a fair amount of my work over to AUTO thanks to those tips.
But even with that shift, when I have important tasks to handle, I still need GPT-5.5 — and that quota runs out very fast. Meanwhile, there’s a ton of AUTO quota just sitting there completely unused, which feels like such a waste. For Ultra users, shouldn’t you let us decide how to balance the quotas between AUTO and API ourselves? We simply don’t need this much AUTO quota.
