I would love to see agents that can be assigned tasks that they complete on their own based on some trigger (programmatic or otherwise)
use case would be telling an agent to “keep docs up to date with all changes in /src”, or “periodically run tests and ensure they stay up to date with current code changes”, etc.
then of course being able to toggle whether or not an agent can run on it’s own to avoid runaway charges
