Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey, thanks for the report. To help with debugging, could you please clarify:

  • Which mode are you in?
  • How are you verifying the rule is ignored? Did you ask the Agent to list rules, or is the behavior simply not matching the rule?
  • Check the sidebar: when in Agent chat, hover over the active context, do you see your attached rules there?
  • Rule type: in Settings → Rules, what type is selected? (Always Apply / Apply Intelligently / Apply to Specific Files / Apply Manually)

Quick test in Agent chat:

  1. Type @ and your rule name
  2. Send a message and check if the rule is followed now

Let me know what you find.

After some restarts and updates, it appears to see the rules. Thanks.

Keeps happening with me as well.
