I’ve been using Cursor Pro for a while now.
Instead of dealing with fast and slow request limitations, I’m considering purchasing the Claude 3.5 Sonnet API directly from Anthropic. If I enter the Sonnet API key in the model settings, will I be able to continue using the app in the same way after my Pro subscription ends?
Does anyone have experience or insight on this?
I want to make sure it will work properly before purchasing

Hey, yes, you can use Cursor with your API key, but you’ll be limited to just the chat. You won’t be able to use Composer, Cursor Tab and Apply Code. If that works for you, then yes, you can do it.
Yes, I noticed. In this situation, I will continue with Cursor.
However, I kindly ask the relevant team to pay attention to this issue. I’d really appreciate it if they could make the app more stable and responsive.
