Describe the request

This is a feature for developers who talk to Cursor verbally, not typing. It’s for longer compositions, maybe better for English class essays then for coding, but it should be useful for coding too.

  1. The app transcribes speech to text.
  2. When the speaker says a sentence that is similar to a sentence already transcribed, the app replaces the previously transcribed sentence, with changes highlighted by color.
  3. The app suggests changes, with suggested changes highlighted in a different color. The speaker can accept the changes by speaking the suggested sentence.
  4. The speaker may repeat entire sentences, or the entire composition, without the app adding new text. Instead, the app moves a cursor to follow the speaker’s words through the composition.

The last two items are more for English class essays. But item #2 would be useful for coding. Some of my prompts are pages long. I type these in Markdown, edit, and then copy and paste to Cursor. But for someone who interacts with Cursor verbally, being able to edit a prompt verbally would be helpful when writing a long prompt.
